There were only 95 units of Tommy Kaira R based on Skyline R32 GTR made.
Each coming with their own unique plaque, this is TK273 (number "27" / year "3" for 1993).
Production volume info is certified by one of the two Tommy Kaira compagny creator, Yoshikazu Tomita and Kikuo Kaira.
They mostly buy Nissan cars to modify and sold branded by TK, but they use to modify Subaru's, Mercedes & more..
At the time two specs were availible based on R32 GTR : "RL" 300hp & "R" 350hp. From factory it's RB26DETT 280hp.
This Austin Mini 1000 has been nicely restored to original specifications, and would be the perfect car for the MK1 enthusiast who's looking for something that can be driven today. During the restoration process the car was completely stripped down and rebuilt, and now only needs some small refinements to make the car perfect. All the hard work and money has been spent - the car is ready to be enjoyed
The current owner notes that the car is running and has all its South African papers in order. The car has the correct chassis number, and of course the correct 9AK engine prefix for the South African Mini 1000 motor. The seller is also happy to deal with international buyers, and is also offering this car as a package along with a genuine Mini GTS and Mini Pickup, for a total price of $17,500 (Australian dollars).

This rare Mini GTS from the first year of production represents a great opportunity to purchase one of the best performance alternatives to the popular Cooper S. Built by Leyland South Africa, the GTS was introduced to provide the South African market with a performance Mini following the end of Cooper S production, and received very similar engine specifications developed locally in South Africa. Only 365 GTS Minis were built for the 1973 year, second only to the 1979 year with 263 units (1979 being the final year of production).
This example is owned by a GTS enthusiast who has a great knowledge of the cars, and has kept the vehicle in very original condition. This is a matching numbers example (with correct original chassis and engine numbers), and appears to be largely unmodified, even retaining its factory 10-inch Rostyle wheels as applied to the early GTS cars before they moved to 8.4 inch disc brakes.
The car runs and drives, however, the gearbox synchros may need some work, and there is an oil leak coming from the gear selector seal. The car is useable and changes gears fine, but ideally someone would want to replace all the seals if the car is going to be used regularly. The body is in good condition with the seller describing it as a solid example, with only a few areas requiring attention in the undercarriage. Those areas could do with some tidying up, and close up images are provided in the gallery above.
This is a great original example that needs little work to get it back to its former glory. A rare car, which has a significant place in the global performance mini story, with the GTS name also having significant accomplishments in South African touring car racing. The first on CLassic Register, this nice example of the rare Australian Ford Landau Coupe (Based on the XA Falcon) was advertised on Ebay in early 2019, asking $62,500 buy it now. The seller noted the car is very well preserved, and other than a few minor paint blemishes is in excellent condition throughout. If you have a Ford Landau, sign-up and add yours to the register so we can preserve the details of these rare Fords!
This one's a bit of a long story. Advertised on Ebay Australia in late 2018, it's been sitting there for a while with a buy it now price of $10,000.00.
The story goes as follows - (wording taken from the original advertisement which was effectively two cars being sold, a re shell and an original replacement shell):
242 GT restoration project spotted on Ebay, located in QLD Australia in December 2018. At the time of offering this one was asking $5,500 buy it now. It's quite rough, but these are now a rare car and having a global presence are internationally becoming very popular. Check out the others on the Volvo 242 GT register.
Only 58,000 km on this silver example with a rare burgundy trim option (teh first we've seen). This example was asking $28,000 NZD in December 2018, a little higher than some others on the market at the time, but also has the lowest mileage. A future classic, and one of around 8,500 S600 coupes built. Check out the others on the Mercedes C140 S600 Coupe register.
A nice low mileage S600 spotted on trademe NZ in December 2018, asking $18,000 at the time. One of approximately 8,500 S600 coupes built, now looks to be a good time to get what will surely be a future classic.
Check out the other examples on the Mercedes C140 coupe 600 register.
