This vehicle has recently had a mechanical overhaul with a new timing chain, reconditioned gearbox, new tyres and a few new minor adjustments. These are becoming more rare and finding one in good mechanical working order is very hard especially in Australia where they are less prominent. This particular example is currently for sale for $5200 AUD (with the reserve price not met on ebay). This Mk2 Sprite has 94,000kms on the clock and (as seen by the photos) a very clean straight body. Some body panels have been replaced over the years from some small dings and scratches but most importantly this car has never been in a serious accident or written off.
