1969 Morris Mini Cooper S rolling shell, found advertised on Gumtree Australia in March 2018.

Has no interior and does have some rust, however rust repair panels are easy to find on line. It is on Hydrolastic suspension and comes complete with the original twin tanks and still has the thicker Cooper S brake pedal. It does not have an engine or front discs ( these were fitted to a speedway mini a long time ago) Ideal starting point for someone who wants to build a genuine S instead of a replica. It was originlly blue with a white roof. The silver colour on it now is a very poor job and most of it washes off with a pressure washer.

Thank you to all callers - I have had 16 to date.

I have attached more pictures to help clear some enquires.

Please note that it does not have the corrct interior. At some time in its life, someone removed the original interior and fitted Clubman parts.

It does not have an engine assembly or disc brakes or booster.

What it does have however is the fact that it is an original build.

One picture shows the numbers stamped in the drip rail above the wiper motor.

The number starts with 2/06 i am told that this is an Australian Cooper S code.

I have included a picture of the rust in the left hand lower guard. This is the most serious rust repair I know that replacement panels are available. I have also included a picture of the rust in the boot floor. The other rust would be easy enough to do. I have been asked for a picture of the compliance plate, but i dont think that they had one . I am not hiding the fact that there is work to be done, but the body is almost fifty years old.

At this stage i will be only replying via email. Please email again if still interested.
