This GTO has had a tough life! With a lot of owners in its history and (from what it appeared) a bit of abuse along the way. it’s come afar from sitting in sheds and various paddocks for 10 or so years, which is how I found it in 2015. Purchased the car for $2500 and set upon the restoration. I painted the car myself as an apprentice refinisher. 3 years later the car is (relatively) complete with a few touches missing (chrome sill strips, graphic, rear badges) but these are all in various states of repair or I’m still trying to find them!
Advertised on classiccarauctions.co.uk in July 2018, asking GBP 8,650. An excellent example with some tasteful modifications. The seller noted the following at the time:
HR31 GTS-X looking a bit sad, this one advertised on Yahoo Auctions Japan, asking $201,000 JPY. Quite a few come up - we need to see more imported to Australia! If you have a GTS-X, sign-up and add your car to the register.

Restoration project (Mazda 121 coupe, also known as the Cosmo or RX5 in some markets). This example was advertised on Ebay Australia in July 2018, with bids at only $608! I fund he side profile of the cars, and the rear great looking - the front headlamps leave room for the imagination.
If you have one, please sign-up and add yours to the register.
180B SSS advertised in NZ - these were called the 200B in Australia. Looks like it's been well restored. Interestingly, this model had a Nissan badge on the trunk - never saw that on the Australian examples as far as we're aware.

Here we have a 1962 Austin Mini Cooper thats just been through an extensive bare metal restoration as the original shell was in poor condition. We replaced it with another 1962 shell. The original car was Red but the replacement we have painted white. It has matching numbers. Its now like brand new. It also has had a new interior kit, new tyres. Has just had new clutch, rear main seal and other mechanical work to bring it back to how it should be. The work was done professionally by Cartel Works in Nelson.
