This was a very cool project offered by the Austin 7 Club of NSW - spotted on Facebook in June 2023..

A genuine Wasp - from 1927/28 - Timber frame expertly and solidly built (would cost $10,000 to have it built). The project included the following parts:

  • Chassis
  • 3 engines
  • Gearbox
  • Rear axle
  • 5 wheels + 4 tyres
  • Fuel tank
  • Windscreen brackets (stamped with #698 or #869)
  • Guards
  • Steering wheel
  • Hubs
  • Radiator shell
