1939 Halvorsen 50 Ft Bridgedeck Cruiser (Hiawatha)

This is an enormous Halvorson - Hiawatha - a 50 Ft timber cruiser built at the start of WW2. I don't know a lot about the history of the boat but I'm sure it's extensive and impressive. An indicative price of $250K has been put on this vessel, which seems very fair for such a large and historically significant boat. Hope it finds an enthusiast owner that keeps it in good order,

A few interesting comments popped up when this boat was posted on Facebook: Jack Winterbottom was supposedly the first owner. And owned for many years by WA Newspapers and was almost the “official” Swan River guest boat for visiting dignitaries. At the time of being offered (June 2026), she was still located on the Swan River at Freshwater Yacht Club.
