1979 Ford Escort MK2 RS2000 Sedan

Advertised on Ebay Australia in September 2017 (see it here), this is the 17th RS2000 we've got listed on Classic Register (Check out the RS2000 register here). It's a big project - this example requires a full restoration, with rust in the heater box area, bonnet, A pillars, C Pillars, Rear guards and floor pans. The seller notes, however, that it does start and run under its own power.

Unfortunately, the motor is not original, but it does have the correct type (2 litre pinto engine) fitted. The interior needs a lot of work, and the original front Scheel seats are missing.

A good opportunity to grab one of these rare Australian 4-door RS2000 sedans. The Australian market was the only one to receive the 4-door, and several examples have been snapped up by international buyers in recent times.
