This matching numbers XD ESP was found on carsales.com.au in October 2016, and the price asked for this one is exceptionally high when compated to others we've seen over the past 5 years. Perhaps a sign of the times.
The seller made the following comments at the time of sale: "Genuine Matching Numbers 1981 XD Fairmont Ghia ESP 351, 4 Speed Manual with factory fitted sunroof, electric windows and power door locks. This stunning car is finished in gleaming Hermitage Red duco which was redone on the outside approx 6 years ago with the engine bay and door jams still retaining their original paint. The black Scheel interior has been retrimmed in reproduction seat material and presents like new."
