1985 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA

Although the 1980s was not great to american cars in general (case and point what Ford had done to the muted Mustang) this was a car that stood out in both classic 80s styling and keeping inline with what an American car had been made famous for; a V8 up front and moving wheels at the rear on a live rear axel. Featuring the 350 block (upgraded from the 305 block) the GTA produced 245HP at the rear wheels delivered through (in this case) a 4 speed automatic gearbox.

This example was found on Ebay Australia for $27,800 AUD at the start of May 2017. As seen in the photos the car is in fairly straight condition with most of the original components sold with the car.
