1987 Nissan BE-1

This super rare 1987 BE-1 is produced by Nissan for the JDM, and is part of a sub-brand known as "Pike".. They were known for their quirky cars including the Pao, Figaro and the S-Cargo.. I may be mistaken but I think the S-Cargo actually came to Australia as a legitimate import as new.. 

This example of the BE-1 - an 80s retro take on the Mini, looks in great condition with just over 100,000 Ks on the clock, and was asking just $9,000 AUD in late 2025 when I spotted it online.. I only see a couple of these come up for sale each year in Australia, and presumably there's only a dozen or so over here (and there were around 10,000 built)..
