1987 Nissan Skyline R31 GTS-R

Rare Nissan Skyline GTS-R, the 6th on our register now! Only 800 of these cars were produced as a batch of "evolution" cars which allowed Nissan to compete internationally in Group A touring car racing. The GTS-R had particular success in both the Australian and Japanese Group A series, competing against other Group A entrants such as the BMW M3, Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth, Group A Commodores, among many others.

This particular car was spotted for sale in the USA in October 2016 (on http://topclassiccarsforsale.com/). At the time, the car was aking $28,950 USD.

Subsequently (in December 2016), we also spotted the car for sale on craigslist, asking $14,938!! The car was owned / being sold by http://www.38thstreetautooutlet.com/search/used-nissan/tp-mk44/ at the time.
