1988 Saab 900 Aero Turbo 16 S

There are few cars that can pull off the 3-spoke look, but the best in the business has to be the Saab 900, where it's part of the DNA. This is the first 900 Aero T16S we've added to the register, spotted for sale on Gumtree Australia asking $8,950 (AUD). The styling of the 900 is so iconic, particularly in 'Aero' form. The looks and the turbo performance make a great modern classic, and we really expect these top spec 900s to start climbing in price in the not so distant future. In the meantime, with prices under $10,000 like this example, it's not a bad time to be looking to buy. 

The seller (who is evidently a Saab enthusiast) suggests the car is in great condition, with no major mechanical issues. Accessories such as the electric windows and sunroof are all fully functional, with the only issue noted being the cruise control. The interior is in very neat condition, finished in a beige velour which the current owner notes may be a re-trim, along with the perfect headlining. The body also looks to be in reasonable order from the images provided, with some paintwork fading mentioned, along with a scratch on the rear quarter panel. Fitted with 16 inch wheels from the Carlsson Saab 9000, it look fantastic.
