What a colour, and on Bruno Sacco's finest car. This 500 SL from 1992 was advertised on Facebook Marketplace in January 2023 asking $41,990. The R129 never really dropped much below $25K, and Covid has seen the average asking price push over $40 K, so it's not bad value, especially for a low km example like this.
The car looks immaculate with just 157,000 km in its 30+ years. No doubt it would have been owned by a doctor for most of its life, and as a result likely benefited from a garage! The seller described it as having no faults, drives well, and comes with its original hardtop (as shown fitted). They did note that there was a small tear on the driver's seat - and a small repair has occurred to the soft top.. Don't sound like major issues :)
