2003 Jaguar S-Type R (V8)

This car is a UK import to Australia, and has a very serious 298kW 4.2 litre supercharged V8, which will bring this luxury Jag to 100km/h in 5.6 seconds. The car was offered on carsales.com.au in June 2021, asking $20,000 - which is actually a very reasonable price considering the specifications. The seller noted at the time that the car arrived in Australia in 2008, and is a current daily driver.

These cars had factory 18 inch wheels, wire mesh grille, monochromatic paint - with "R" on the rear apron sideskirts and front apron. They were also fitted woith foglights, a rear spoiler, rear subframe bracing, and "R" badging on the rear trunk and the front fenders. 

This is the first one of these modern classic Jags on CR. The "S" Type has been forgotten about to some extent - many preferring the XJ sedans.. Personally I think these cars are aging well (particularly well for a retro design).
