Great example of the later series JCW R52 (210 hp) which I spotted on fb marketplace asking just $15k AUD in late 2025. This one benefits from a bit of extra power over the original, and most significantly, a very nice bodykit which distinguishes it further from the standard S.
This one had about 180ks on the odometer, and seems well looked after for a 20yo car. There are still lots of R53s on the road after more than 20 years now, so I think it's clear they're a reasonably robust generation of the new Mini..
