Haven't seen one of these in a long time - this is a 1971 MS70 series coupe, a very rare variant of the Crown. These are great looking cars, and there are very few in Australia (a few more made their way to NZ where this car is based).. This example was asking over $50,000 NZD when we spotted it for sale in March 2024. See the others on the Crown Coupe register.

Spotted on Facebook Marketplace in October 2022 asking GBP 7,500! The seller described the car as a pre-facelift. 99.9% complete car, 90% of the fabrication work has been done. All rust has been removed it just needs the bottoms of the doors & wings making, and the rear quarters finishing, then its into finessing/gapping before paint prep. It's been on a rotisserie, bare metalled inside & out...

I know this car was somewhere in Poland (spotted on FB for sale in March 2022), but not sure exactly where - someone on a Crown group posted it confirming that they were looking at buying it for 16-17K EUR at the time. Looks in great condition (I presume the colour is aftermarket as it doesn't look particularly 70s).. Got a few of these MS7- / MS75 Toyota crowns on the register now - check out...

Spotted this on the Facebook page of Nippon2u. Very few details provided, but looks like this one might be headed to Australia. Love the effort that the Japanese put into the styling of their 70s cars in particular - the bumpers etc were all so nicely integrated.

Spotted on Ebay UK, but somehow located in Dunkiri France, this CS51 Crown Coupe was asking GBP10,000, and is certaintly a rarity over that side of the world. AT the time it was advertised, the seller noted the following comments: Japanese import Right hand drive 3rd generation of Crown 130.000 km engine type "M", the ancestor of the toyota M serie (supra 7M... etc) 2.0L 6 cylinders SOHC 130bhp...

Bought this to in pretty rough state but getting started on working on it.

The second S110 hardtop on the register - this one aslo advertised on a few JDM websites, asking $19,990 USD in June 2021. Looks like a great example in white, and relatively low Ks at 146,000.. Hoping a few of these classics end up in Australia - bever seen one.

This is one of the most populat body styles for the classic Crown (reflecting something very similar to many US muscle cars of the era. This MS50 series Crown was advertised on tradecarview in June 2021, and was asking $16,500. CLaims to have only 31,000km, but I've become sceptical about such old cars having such low mileage... I could be wrong. Check out the other Crowns on the register below.

This is the first S110 Crown coupe on classicregister.com. and was spotted for sale on a Japanese export website asking about $14,000 USD in June 2021. You never see the S110 series coupes - there atre plenty of sedans in export markets like Australial but we suspect the coupe was available only in the Japanese market. Despite looking like a large luxury coupe, this Crown has a manual transmission...

No details known about this one - spotted on a forum on the net in April 2021. Believed to be a UK car. Nice colour. Must be very few of these Crown coupes in Europe and the EU - most in drier parts of the world rusted away.. Check out the others on the register and if you have one, add yours!

Another MS51 hardtop - this one has been advertised everywhere for years, asking about $40,000 AUD. Still sitting on Gumtree Australia,m located in Sydney. Looks in great condition - and there's only one other MS51 hardtop for sale in the country at this time.. Not sure how many more are out there - originally this was sold as a "Toyopet". If you have one, signj up and add yours!
