This ESP XD was advertisedin May 2021, and was originally a 6-cylinder ESP, but now has a 351 V8. The car was reconditioned 5 years earlier, and the seller noted it has a new reco carby, new coil, leads and plugs, reco'd C4 trans , new master cylinder new brake booster. Unbelievable that a 6 cylinder factory car could be asking this sort of price - at the time asking $75,000. Check out the others...

Rare 6-cylinder XE ESP - this one was advertised on Ebay Australia in May 2021 - with bids over $40K and 5 days to go. Prices, even onf the 6-cylinser ESPs have truly gone mad..

This is the very last Ford Fairmont Ghia XE ESP built. It was offered in May 2021 through Grays auctions, and it has just 60km on the clock. This is the ultimate investment XE ESP - and with hbids over $315,000 and 7 days to run, it's clear this car is going to break records. Interestinglu, it has a plaque installed by Ford Australia confirming it's the last V8 to be produced in Australia.

This XE ESP was advertised on Lloyds auctions in May 2021, with bids over$60K but plenty of time to run. The car looks in excellent condition, and has fewer than 120,000km on the clock. These XE ESPs have gone crazy with their prices over the last few years, and at the same time as this car was being sold, another XE ESP was being auctioned - the last of the Falcon V8s (the last one built) - and...

This is the highest sale value for one of these I've seen to date, but admittedly they don't come along too often like this - a factory manual V8 ESP with just 75,000 on the clock, and supposedly unmodified and completely original. Spotted on ebay.com.au in November 2020, this claims to be a genuine XD ESP, and the seller at the time noted that it comes with a verification letter, so presumably this is a genuine car. A 6-cylinder mode, it's obviously not the highly desirable 351 V8, but nonetheless a very rare car with an estrimate of 300-500 built. At the time it was advertised, this example was asking a buy it now price of...

Another advertised on Graysonline, bids over 50K and it's not even originally a V8 - just a well done up V8 mock (originally a 6-cylinder ESP). Comes with the Ford verification letter and looks to be in great condition. Likely to hit mid 50K bids we think..

This is an original ESP, 6-cylinder carby (only a couple of hundred believed to have been produced). This example has just over 150,000km, and did very well at auction, selling for $43,209. This is an amazing price for a 6-cylinder...

Silver Grey ESP (originally would have been over Charcoal) - in excellent condition, only a few small bits need attention in this example. This one is owned by a friend, and we had the opportunity to do a video / take a few snaps if the cars whilst we were at his place. This ESP has our favourite trim, the Sierra Tan. Needs to get the charcoal lower body panels to really look the part though...
