I think this is the first Horizon Green Metallic Daytona hardtop I've come across - certainly seen a convertible in this colour, but not a hardtop.. Likely therefore quite a rare colour combo. This one was advertised on Facebook marketplace in December 2023, asking just $2,600. The car has a 289 V8. It looks as though it has a bit of rust, but very saveable. The trim looks OK, and has seat covers...

This great example was advertised on FB marketplace in July 2023, asking just $15,000 USD.. It looks in excellent condition, and in need of no work.. Can't complain at that price - it wasn't too long ago that people would pay $7K for a wreck, and it would cost you triple that to get a wreck into this condition. Very few details noted by the seller in the original ad - other than it's a 259 V8...

Unrestored original example of the Daytona hardtop, which appears to be in its original light blue (very desirable colour). This example spotted on facebook marketplace in June 2023, asking just $1,500 USD. Seller noted the car had no title, but would make a great parts car (runs!).

1964 Daytona Hardtop - spotted this original silver example on Facebook in late 2022. Looks to be a nice original car, with original paint and a good contrasting trim colour.. Another Daytona hardtop on the register! Great to see so many have survived from such a small batch of production. By the look of the steering wheel and the B-pillar badges, this is a South Bend built car.

This fully restored 1963 Studebaker Lark Daytona R2 Hardtop is one of only 110 built with the supercharged Jet-Thrust 289ci V8 with a four-speed manual gearbox - we spotted this advertised on .artandspeed.com. Factory options included front disc brakes, bucket seats, and a twin-traction differential. The seller noted that everything is rebuilt or replaced with new or NOS parts relatively recently...

This barn find Daytona hardtop would make a great project and is truly worth saving. Asking $7,500 USD in September 2022, it appears to be a very original unrestored car, but does need a fair bit of work to get it back to its former glory.. White with a strong contrasting red trim is a great colour combo.. Very limited details were provided in the ad, with the seller noting the following comments...

Well I've never seen one of these before! This custom 1964 use (which we presume started life as a Daytona of some sort but that's just a giess) was advertised on Favebook marketplace in September 2022 asking $18,500. The car has been significantly modified into a pickup, and looks a little awkward at the rear (might be corrected by improving the rear cover.. I do think they've done a good job...

Spotted this clean solid body for sale on Facebook Marketplace, asking $7,500 USD. This supposedly has no rust in it, and a rebuilt 259 V8. Honestly, this is real value, ast most of the very expensive work isn't required - just paint to go.. If you're a follower of this register, you know we absolutely love the Studebaker Daytonas, but particularly the Hardtops of 1964 - this being an example.. We...

A solid example of the Daytona hardtop, spotted on Craigslist USA (located California) - the seller noted at the time that the car runs, but needs some TLC. Looks like the body is fairly solid besides needing paint.. I assume the original colour is Laguna Blue metallic (a light blue), which is a personal favourite of mine. Great opportunity for someone to get into a rare project - the seller...

This is a rare 4-speed manual example of the 64 Daytona, also factory fitted with front disc brakes. A great colour combination in Midnight black paint with red trim, and has a bunch of other interesting options including heavy duty springs. This one was advertised on Craigslist USA, located in Dunlap, Tennessee at the time, and was asking $16,500 USD. In the original advertisement, the seller...

I've not been tempted to buy another car for some time - currently trying to finish off existing projects, but this one is testing my patience. The Daytona hardtop is at the top of my list of early US muscle cars, and this one claims to have been in storage since 1973 - and most importantly has very limited rust. The sills, doors and firewall all look very solid for a 64.. The seller also noted at...

This is the Canadian Daytona that was offered for sale with the R1 Daytona Hardtop project (see the R1 Daytona project here). The cars were offered together as a package for $7,500 USD. The seller at the time noted that thius one was not worth saving.. I beg to differ - all Daytonas are worth saving!! Not great images available for this one, but we've got the VIN on the list, so great to have...
