This Daytona R1 project was advertised via a facebook group in April 2022. The car appears to originally be Strato Blue, and the seller provided the VIN number, and was certain it is a genuine R1 car. The car needs a bit of body work but is very saveable (and as a genuine R1, is certainly worth saving). The car was offered as a package with a second parts car, another 2-door Daytona hardtop - a...

Spotted this original Bermuda Brown Studebaker Daytona HT on craigslist in January 2022, asking $9,000. Looks to be a very original car, with supposedly just 22,500 miles!! This is one of just 2,414 Hardtops built in 1964, and (in my opinion) one of the best Studebakers ever produced.. In the original advertisement, the seller noted: "Last year for Studebaker HT. V-8, Power Shift Automatic, Bucket...

Spotted on Craigslist in September 2021 - only 2 pictures included in the ad, and only asking $995 USD. At the time it was advertised the seller noted that it was formerly the personal car of the owner of the Newberg Studebaker dealership. It was a Special ordered with Avanti "Powershift" transmission, P code 289 engine, disc brakes, bucket seats, power steering, all glass factory tinting...

This was listed on facebook marketplace in early 2021 - looks to be originally Horizon Green metallic, and supposedly has done only 50,000km. It's a 289 V8, and by the look of it it's a South Bend built car (with two tone steering wheel and the badge style on the rear pillar).

Spotted this 289 hardtop on Facebook in late 2020. No price and no good details provided about the car unfortunately - other than stating that the car's rust is not too bad. Looks very complete and worth saving. Less than 2,500 hardtops were built, this is a very rare project.

Spotted this one on Facebook in January 2020, located Southern Indiana (assumed around Louisville). Looks like it had a hard life but possibly saveable. Looks to be a south bend built car with column shift auto, possibly in its original Strato Blue. A few spares sitting in the trunk - no indication of price was given by the seller. Hope it hets saved!

This Daytona hardtop was offered for sale on Ebay USA in December 2020. Finished in Black, the car was part of a private collectiion and has supposedly sat for over 20 years, and is completely rust free. The engine is said to be a "284", but we believe that because this is a 1964, it should be a 289 Stude engine (reather than the later Chevy 283s which were fitted to the 1965 Daytonas). This...

This one was advertised on Facebook in 2020, looks to be a fairly complete Daytona project - few and far between now. Very nice colour in Laguna Blue Metallic. Needs a full restoration, but hoping the rust isnt too bad, The car supposedly needs work to get it running, so it's a fairly big project. Check out the other Daytonas on the register below. This one was asking just $4,000 USD at the time...

Rare Daytona hardtop offered in May 2020 by Classic Auto Mall Inc. These guys have had a few interesting Studebakers recently, and they seem to be offering them at reasonable prices. Check out their stock here: https://www.classicautomall.com/ In the advertisement, the seller noted: An excellent example of the 1964 Studebaker Daytona well-kept and restored to a nice condition. There is little...

A solid example of the Daytona, thought I'd add this one to the register, spotted on classiccars.com, and offered for sale by Silverstone Motorcars - see their original listing here: https://www.silverstonemotorcars.com/vehicles/553/1964-studebaker-daytona - looks to have a very reasonable price on it too. There a quite a few of the Daytonas on classicregister now, considering how rare these cars...

This is the first Daytona we've spotted on NZ, this one found on trademe.co.nz asking $18,500 in November 2019. Looks solid, however, has a modified engine bay paint job. I think we'd prefer the original Horizon Green metallic paint..The seller at the time noted: The car is basically how it come from the States, faded paint, no hood liner, put a set of 15x6 Cragars on it and drove it. Recently...

This Daytona hardtop sold through bringatrailer.com - see the original listing here: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1964-studebaker-daytona/. One of quite a number added here to classic register (see links below to the others). This example has seen a fair bit of mechanical and body refurbishment. Unsure whether this is a factory R2 - but unlikely. Many of the 64 Daytonas have since been...
