Car is restored as close as possible to original specs. Body is Snow White only, not two tone as this was original. The interior is presently black as the original interior is unknown, the car having a Clubman interior fitted on purchase from previous owner. The engine fitted at present is not the original.

Spotted on carsales.com.au in mid-January 2017, asking $39,000 (AUD) - this looks to be a very original, matching Numbers Australian Morris Cooper S. The seller provided very few comments about the car, but from a quick look at the compliance plate and images, it seems to have been restored very close to original specification, with Snow White paint contrasting nicely against the red interior trim...

Originally a Burgundy Red on Toga White car, the restorer has swapped the colours around. This is a genuine MK1 Cooper S, however, it is not a matching numbers car, in the sense tha the Cooper S engine in the car, is not actually the original motor (although it is a Cooper S engine from another car). This Morris Cooper S 1275 was exported in late 1966 as a CKD to Australia. Built and finished in 1967. Sold to Japan some years ago. Purchased by myself in November 2106 to return to the UK for complete restoration to new specification.
