I think this is the first Horizon Green Metallic Daytona hardtop I've come across - certainly seen a convertible in this colour, but not a hardtop.. Likely therefore quite a rare colour combo. This one came up on a group on FB, with the owner asking the difficult question "what's it worth". Consensus was that the car is worth under $5K USD, due to the rust situation.. Still a great complete car, and worthy of saving.. Somewhat surprised at how many of the 600ish 64 convertibles built. See the others on the register her on classicregister.com.

Can't complain at that price - it wasn't too long ago that people would pay $7K for a wreck, and it would cost you triple that to get a wreck into this condition. This convertible was taken from a Facebook Post in June 2023, where the owner noted "Out of the barn, first time in over 30 years, my nephew is going to get it back on the road as a driver. 64 Daytona convertible, 289, 4 barrel, 4 speed, posi rear, am fm radio." It's great to see one that is so intact and might just be able to be cleaned up and got back on the road with minimal fuss (and rust)...

1964 Studebaker Daytona convertible, runs great, strong engine! Three owners in lifetime of the car. Second owner gave extensive records on what work was done to keep this beauty in top condition. 1964 Daytona Hardtop - spotted this original silver example on Facebook in late 2022. Looks to be a nice original car, with original paint and a good contrasting trim colour.. Another Daytona hardtop on the register! Great to see so many have survived from such a small batch of production. By the look of the steering wheel and the B-pillar badges, this is a South Bend built car.

Unfortunately we haven't been able to get the VIN details for this one, but note it was advertised in late 2022 asking $35,000 on Facebook marketplace, located in Oklahoma USA. Burgundy looks great on these cars - most convertibles seem to be finished in a brighter red..
