Exceptionally low ks - these seem to have sold quite well in Australia and make an interesting Japanese alternative to German coupes of the 80s.. Certainly they don't have the same engineering as say a 124 Mercedes coupe, but they are still a quality luxury coupe, which at the time probably coost a lot less than the Merc or BMW equivalent with a six cylinder engine.. Advertised on Gumtree Australia in February 2020, asking $8,500, this rolling shell with interior is fairly complete and would make a great project for a Mazda enthusiast. There are a few significant rust spots, but supposedly the flloors and sills are in great condition. Hopefuly this 929 coupe can be saved.

A NZ example spotted on trademe.co.nz. Originally a light Gold coloured car, now red, lowered and looking like a DR30 Skyline. Got a few of these interesting (and now rare) luxury Japaneze 929s on the register.
