Found this one on FB marketplace in August 2024, asking $145,000. A super rare GT - being the South African Fairmont versions. These were manufactured in Australia, and assembled in South Africa (the same occurred with the XW). As the GT, it of course has the 351 CID 4V V8 Engine, and this one has a Manual Trans. These are very rare, but most of them seem to now have been brought back to Australia...

This is one of 1800 legendary Fairmont GT's sold in South Africa during the period 1970 to 1973. My Fairmont gave me excellent service since 1972. The car was utilised in Namaqualand which is a semi-desert area in South Africa and is therefore without any rust. Modifications made were a chromed air cleaner and chromed tappet covers. Spotted on Ebay Australia in early 2019, this is a South African Falcon GT (known as the Fairmont GT over there). These cars were exported as CKD kits to South Africa from Australia, with many having found their way back to Australia since there is such huge GT demand. At the time the car was advertised, it was asking $85,000. Far less than what you'd pay for a GT-HO and less than an Aus GT, but...
