While we were adding the red ST205 GT-Four to the register, we spotted this yellow one also for sale, asking $17,000 less, but with half the mileage. Again, this is an import from Japan (not one of the rare Australian homologation cars), but nonetheless a true GT-Four - just a smaller spoiler :).. Looks in OK condition, and was advertised as registered, asking $40,000 AUD at the time (December...

Although it was the least successful in the WRC (thanks to getting itself banned), it is my favourite GT-Gour model.. Something about the muscular styling has always done it for me, and I still have the Tamiya Castrol WRC radio control version from when I was a kid. These are a great modern classic which it seems are now on the allowed import list as a 30+ year old car, and are streaming in (but...

Starting to see a few more of these come onto the roads which is great! There was a time when they were advetrtised very cheap becuase theu could only be used as race cars (had someting to do with the fact that we did get asmall batch of GT4s in Australia in 1994 - so that prevented later imports - I suspect that's since changed. Love these rally legends - if they weren't banned from the WRC, you...

Spotted on Lloyds auctions - don't knopw how they get there hands on so many cool cars - this import GT-four was advertised in 2021, not sure what final price it got at auction but I expect at least high 20s.. The original advertisement at https://www.lloydsonline.com.au/ noyted the following comments about the car: The Toyota Celica GT-Four is a high performance model of the Celica Liftback that...

This GT-Four (ST-205) was advertised on trademe.co.nz in June 2021, asking $39,990. Values of the GT-four have gone up a lot recently, and you used to be able to get one of these in NZ for around $15,000 or so. In AUstralia, there are even fewer (with the most rare being the 75 or soi cars that were factory delivered for the World Rally Championship. The ST205,m although banned for an illegal...

Toyota
Late model example of the GT Four, imported to NZ. These cars were banned from the WRC in 1995 due to an illegal turbo part being used. WHat could have been - perhaps would have seen the WRX and Evo out of business if earlier celica performance was anything to go by... Awesome cars, and very low production numbers globally. If you've got one, please add ybours to the register.
