This is a rare Aussie delivered (one of 77) Celica GT4s - one of the original Group A requirement cars (not an aftermarket import). Looks in good condition, but has well used Ks sitting at $180,000. This example was asking $61,500 in December 2024, and is number 48 of 70.

Nice 1996 Celica GT4 ST205 Imported from Japan, spotted on FB Marketplace in late 2024. Only 98,000KMs -an AWD rally car for the street. Clean interior. Genuine ray gram wheels. Not too many of these on the streets, check out the others on the register.

While we were adding the red ST205 GT-Four to the register, we spotted this yellow one also for sale, asking $17,000 less, but with half the mileage. Again, this is an import from Japan (not one of the rare Australian homologation cars), but nonetheless a true GT-Four - just a smaller spoiler :).. Starting to see a few more of these come onto the roads which is great! There was a time when they were advetrtised very cheap becuase theu could only be used as race cars (had someting to do with the fact that we did get asmall batch of GT4s in Australia in 1994 - so that prevented later imports - I suspect that's since changed. This GT-Four (ST-205) was advertised on trademe.co.nz in June 2021, asking $39,990. Values of the GT-four have gone up a lot recently, and you used to be able to get one of these in NZ for around $15,000 or so. In AUstralia, there are even fewer (with the most rare being the 75 or soi cars that were factory delivered for the World Rally Championship. The ST205,m although banned for an illegal...

Late model example of the GT Four, imported to NZ. These cars were banned from the WRC in 1995 due to an illegal turbo part being used. WHat could have been - perhaps would have seen the WRX and Evo out of business if earlier celica performance was anything to go by... Awesome cars, and very low production numbers globally.
