Rare to see these come up - you could pick them up in good order for about $10k a decade ago.. This one, which the seller noted has issued, was spotted for sale asking $25k in late 2025. Nice project for someone.. Needs sill work apparently. Still worthwhile saving this, the coupe R31s are super cool cars..

Meant to add this one a while ago - Gone are the days of getting these R31 coupes under $15k.. This one was advertised on Graysonline and sold for 40K in early 2021. Looks like someone had done a lot of work to it, with some bits needing a bit of a tidy up. 80s coupes at their square best! Love these things, check out the others on the register below.

While we spotted a low mileage car in Aus, we spotted an even lower mileage car in NZ - this onie from 1986 with just over 50,000km on the clock, and looks absolutely immaculate. The car, however, was asking a decent price at the time of offering, at nearly $45,000 NZD. Unlikely that you'll find many others like it without heading to Japan. The wheels on this one are supposedly factory optioned...

This low km and very clean example of the R31 GTS-X coupe was advertised on Grays auctions in early 2021, and we believe it ended up selling for just under $23,000 AUD. It';s one of the best original examples we've seen, and most imports you see here have been heavily modified - this one remains completely stock. These are quite hard to find now. 8 years ago, you could get them under $10k, but...

Only the 3rd on our little register, this 1988 Nissan gts-x was advertised on trademe NZ in March 2019 asking $10,500. Looks a little rough but quite original - would suit someone looking for an easy project, to bring it back to all factory spec and get the factory Nissan dish wheels back on it :). This GTS-X Turbo was advertised on trademe NZ in August 2018, asking $7,500 NZD. Looks to be in fairly rough condition, but repairable..It has its factory red top RB20DET that hasn't been played with. Factory side mount intercooler, factory boost. 15 inch ssr mesh wheels with good tyres. It's got a welded (in) and open diff (original held as spare), genuine Nardi steering wheel, 2 1/2 inch exhaust...
