It's been a while since we spotted another for the register, possibly the first of 2019 (and it's now October!). This one popped up on Craigslist USA asking $11,300, which I think is a bargain. At the time of offering the seller noted the following comments:
283 V8, PS, Auto, factory AC and AM/FM. 74900 actual miles. Restored to original in 2006. We are 3rd owners. Recent tires, belts, hoses replaced, brake fluid flushed/replaced. Well maintained with extensive repair history/documentation. Starts right up, runs and shows very well. Not perfect, but quite a nice example of the marque. Recent 200 mile trip with no issues. Documents, pictures and communication from original owner as well as dealer memorabilia and restoration documentation included. Rare - one of 50 V8 Daytona’s currently known to exist in the 1966 Daytona Registry. 1966 was the last year for Studebaker production – they didn’t make any more after that
UPDATE: In June 2024, this car appeared for sale on Bringatrailer and sold for $15,250 USD (quite a good result!). Some further images from that auction have been added to the car's profile.
