Spotted for sale on classiccars.com - The seller noted: Affordable Classic Survivor! 1 of only 1,627 Studebaker Daytonas made in 1965. Mostly original factory sienna red paint with original black vinyl interior. Original white vinyl top. Original paint with some dings and thin spots. The only rust I see is some surface rust in the trunk. Good glass and trim. All gauges work with the exception of the clock. Original AM radio comes on but has no sound. Some wear on the edge of the drivers seat covered by tape. Heater works.
Studebaker sourced the engines from GM of Canada so this car has the venerable 283ci small block Chevy which should provide many trouble free miles and easy maintenance and upgrades. Automatic transmission. Dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Power steering and power drum brakes.
This is a great affordable classic car. Sold new at Ben A. Begier Co. in San Leandro, Ca. and has remained local since new. It still has the original black plates and dealer license plate frames. 2 owner car. 66k miles are believed to be original. Runs and drives good. Clean California title in hand - see the original add here: https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1528193/1965-studebaker-2-dr-for-sale-in-concord-california-94520
