Manufactured by Mazda in Japan, this 2 door Hardtop GT Rotary was offered for sale on Grays Auctions online, and sold for $23,109 in December 2021. Extremely rare in Australia, we commonly see the turbo 929 coupe (which sold quite strongly here in the 1980s when new), but rarely do these Rotary engined Cosmo versions of the HB turn up. Unsurprisingly, these are becoming increasingly desirable like most of Mazda's old rotary cars.
