1935 Holmes 48 ft Bridgedeck Cruiser

I'm not particularly familiar with the Holmes boats, but this one caught my eye, in the beautiful bridgedeck format. This is a 48 ft timber cruiser, which we spotted online for sale asking just $40,000 in late 2025. The seller noted that there was a lot of work that needed to be done, and unfortunately there were only a couple of images in the ad, so it's unknown how big the job might be. The seller did note that this vessel was fitted with twin Volvo Penta 130hp engines, so it would get along quite well.

Sincerely hoping this finds a good home and restoration. These boats are now few and far between, but generally those that have survived do so due to a serious enthusiast following.
