With only 106 built and benefiting from the same mechanicals as the EL GT, this NL FBT is very reasonably priced at $7,200 (AUD) - currently offered here on Gumtree Australia. Edit: The car was found agai for sale in May 2017, asking only 7K, and additional images added.

This particular car is build number 90 of 106, finished in its original Navy Blue which the seller notes has a few blemishes - reasonable for a 19 year old car. The kilometres are not so low at 294,000, but the price is reflective of this, and some recent maintenance work has been undertaken including a new brake booster, timing cover, brakes and tyres.

We’ve seen a few FBTs offered over the last year or so, and many have had less than 150,000 on the clock, as most initial purchasers cotton-balled them to some extent. Those lower km cars have generally been asking from $13,000 upward, but there are examples with low Ks such as this Regency Red car here on Carsales which is asking only $9,000 (AUD), with a relatively low 132,000 km on the clock.

They’ve never had the lust of the GT, but are a true collector car and one of the smallest factory limited edition batches produced. With prices occasionally showing under 10K, if you’ve been looking for one, it’s a fairly good time to buy. See the other FBTs on the Register here.
