This LS was for sale in 2014/15, and has undergone a bare metal restoration. The car has been completely stripped back (originally was nugget Gold), and repainted in a ford orange.
Other than the paint colour change, the car is largely original. Its a shame the colour was not kept original, but anyway, it makes for an interesting looking 1275LS. Engine was also fitted with a webber carby (stock should be a 1.5" SU carby.
Amazing condition - hopefully finds a buyer soon. If anyone finds out who buys the car, let me know so we can get some further details.
The following work was described as being done to the engine:
Original 1275cc and has had a 20''' overbore to1293cc capacity.
New pistons, rings, reground crank, new engine bearings.
New billet Kent camshaft from UK, mild (semi race)
New followers. Re-conditioned cylinder head.
Re-raced gearbox, aftermarket quickshift.
40 DCOE weber on mid-length manifold.
Polished bellhousing. Exhaust replaced.
