This example was advertised on Facebook in 2019, offered for only $500. Terrible condition, and looks to be only good as a parts car, depending on whether the floors are any good. But still relaytively complete and could be used to save another one with a bad body.
Rolls Silver Shadow coachbuilt 2-door coupe, a rare example produced by James Young Coachbuilders in 1966, being one of only 35 built. This example is one of 25 right-hand drive models ordered and built for Donald L Nicholas of Gatehampton Manor, Goring-on Thames, England, a director of Timothy Whites & Taylors Ltd. Check out the others on Classic Register's Rolls Royce Silver Shadow James Young Coupe Register.
This is one of only 35 James Young Rolls-Royce 2-door Saloons, and this particular car was supplied by Frank Dale in 1967 to 20th Century Fox in L.A. where the car has been taken over by the actor, dircetor and producer Richard Attenborough. These were the last coachbuilt bodies by James Young Ltd, and we expect that the coming decades will see enormous price rises for one of the rarest Shadow based vehicles built. the car is RHD

The last of the Studebakers, this is an excellent opportunity to purchase one of only 620 V-8 Daytona Sports Sedans built for the 1966 year. Manufactured in the Hamilton Ontario plant, this particular car is believed to be the last Studebaker sold new in South Dakota - where it still resides today. This would make an ideal collector piece for the late model Studebaker enthusiast, with little work required to get the car back on the road or into show condition.
This one is a true time capsule, having spent the last 40 years in storage, and is described by the current owner as all original. As a result, the car has an exceptionally low 15,383 miles on the clock, and is even fitted with its original tyres. There have been several beautifully restored and preserved examples of the 1966 Studebaker come up for sale in recent years, but it's uncommon to find one with such low mileage in what is already a small pool of vehicles remaining.
The body is in great shape, with only the paint on the hood and trunk lid suffering from surface rust during the car's time in storage. The original Niagra Blue Mist paint is otherwise in excellent condition, and there's no structural rust to speak of. The original black vinyl roof is also in great shape for the car's age.
Inside, the vehicle was optioned with black vinyl (one of only 3 trim colours available in 1966) which would clean up well. The revised 1966 trim and accessories are all in excellent condition and everything is where it should be. The car has the optional centre console fitted between the front bucket seats, and a period airconditioning system could easily be fitted if desired (this was optional on the 66 Daytona).
We hope this well preserved example finds an enthusiast to protect this piece of history, and get it back on the road where it can be enjoyed. If you'd like to inspect the vehicle or have any questions, contact Mark by clicking the contact seller button at the top of this page.
