1927 Rolls-Royce Phantom I Sedan

This Phantom 1, 1927 model, was advertised on Ebay Australia, located on the Central Coast just north of Sydney. The car was reportedly owned since new by the Anheuser Busch family of Budweiser Beer. The story goes that it was delivered new to the family in 1927, and has had just three owners since then. The car has recently been refurbished after having been on long term museum display. The car is fitted with factory 4-wheel servo assisted brakes, and has its original cast iron OHV 7.6l (6 cylinder) engine.

This is a 7 passenger body built by the famous Brewster coachbuilders, who built many Rolls Royce bodies in the USA (I believe they were located in New York for some time).

Quite a piece of history here, with a classified ad price of $180,000 AUD. See the original listing here.
