This 1952 Roadster was offered at auction in 2022, and has just 28,982 original miles on the clock! One of the earliest US sports cars, these are a very special and rare vehicle - with just 150 built in 1952. The original auction site (see the original listing here), made the following comments:
Adding to his 100-plus car collection, Mr. Burt acquired this driver quality example Nash-Healey in 2007 from a well-established dealer in Chicago who primarily dealt with classic cars. It became one of his favorites thanks to its rich patina and thrilling drop-top antics on the road. In 2013, the owner decided to sell off his collection, with this Nash-Healey being one of the few exceptions that was to stay behind.
Finished in burgundy with tan leather interior and a black cloth convertible top, this Nash-Healey is equipped with chrome wire-spoke wheels, whitewall tires, optional fog lights and its correct original emblems and trim. The older burgundy paint presents with patina throughout, showing its use on the road and presents itself as a driver example. The interior comes with a heater and AM radio that is reported to be in working condition. The odometer reads 28,982 miles, which is reported to be original miles.
