1965 Studebaker Commander 2 Door Sedan

Spotted this in early 2025, it's a rolling shell 1965 Australian ex police Studebaker Commander 2-door. Australian police (particularly in the state of Victoria) used these cars as highway patrol, and they were very well regarded. You see very few around these days - back in the 60s there was even a police race team that entered their Studebakers in major events such as Bathurst. Hoping this one will be restore, but it looks a very big project. The original advertisement noted: Ex-Vic police rolling body no running gear originally the car had a 283 chev engine and 3 speed manual. comes with a nos front stone tray and a pair of good used rear 1/4 s. has rust like all studes needs resto.
