This car was available for sale in July 2016. This is a very rare 1965 Daytona Sports Sedan, one of only 1,626 produced in the 1965 year, soon before Studebaker closed its doors. We contacted the owner who mad the following comments about the car:
"I've owned the car for the last 18 years. And has always been garaged. It has no rust and the body is straight. I have the original wheels and hubcaps. And a few days extra parts.
My family collects Studebaker's this is my 2nd Daytona. I had a 64 four door with the 289 Y block. The 65 I'm selling now has the studebaker thunderbolt (Chevy 283 towards the end they were leasing motors from Chevy)".
