The previous owner has done the right thing and applied the original Lake Green paint with Snow White roof, and retained all receipts and photos of the restoration. The work done has kept true to original specifications of the car, with only subtle period modifications such as the air filters, bullet wing mirrors and sports steering wheel. 

Being a race legend, the Cooper S remains one of the more affordable classic sports cars when compared to many other examples of the era, but we certainly don't think it will be long before the $50,000 (AUD) and higher price-tag becomes the absolute norm for well-restored matching number cars such as this example.
