The auction ended at $3,750 (USD):
Not long to go in this auction for a 1969 Mach 1, here on Ebay USA. It's a big project, with the seller noting the substantial body work required, but the price is fairly reflective of this with bids still under $4,000 (USD), and less than a day remaining.
The seller notes this particular car is a 351 H code, as confirmed by the chassis number. Unfortunately, the car is sold without its original engine or transmission. The original colour was Champagne Gold Metallic (see the last image for an example of what it could look like) with the black-out hood treatment, and the car was factory optioned with power steering. It was also originally equipped new with E70X14 belted white sidewall tires, AM radio and tinted glass.
The seller has provided all details from the Marti Report, which confirms the car was built in the Dearborn plant on May 27 1969 and was scheduled for delivery to the Omaha District Sales Office, and delivered to Contois Motor Co in Omaha. The report also states that this car is one of 2,134 with its paint codes, 1,701 with these paint/trim codes, 23,511 with these engine/transmission codes, 1,415 ordered from this DSO and 88,695 with power steering.
The result of the auction will be posted here at the end. Follow us on Facebook for more interesting cars found for sale around the world.
