At the time of sale, the seller noted the following about the car:

Gen 1 Mitsubishi Galant 16L coupe. Owned for about 1 year, bought as a project for my son but he has lost interest, would like to keep as i owned one of these 30 years ago but have a project of my own. Repainted at some stage possibly 2013 when the second owner sold after 38 years of ownership, so was probably looked after for most of its life. Paint on roof, bonnet and boot faded, interior ok with rips in drivers seat,cracked dash and worn carpets. Project car you can still use that still runs and drives pretty good. Had a few spots of rust on top of passengers front guard, a few more on drivers front guard and the worst being a patch on the corner and bottom of the back window with a few bubbles on the top, these areas will need to be fixed properly at some stage. Also has a few bubbles poping up in a few places. Engine has a oil leak which has not changed since we have owned it and smokes when 1st started after sitting. Mags plus have original wheels that go with sale. Not to many of these around, classic that turns heads whenever we take it out kms are miles selling aiwi of course. Viewing and test drives welcome and preferred.
