This is a late Australian Leyland Mini "S" - the "S" meaning the car was one level above the base model, and had a few features such as flares on the mudguards, badging, but little else. This looks like an original survivor example, and is in the final year of Australian mini production (with the exception of the Moke). It caught our attention, as there aren't many survivors like this out there, with everything fairly original, including its 998cc engine fitted with pollution gear.
Although it is an original time capsule, the seller did note in the ad that the car has since been repainted, along with the wheels - but the car does not run..Great project - asking $9,000 in June 2021 - has been advertised for quite a few months..
