A solid example of the 242 GT - this one a 1980 model with the front end changed over with 264 parts. This example was offered for sale in October 2018, asking $8,500 - with the seller noting the car is a one owner example.. Interestingly it has a Holden Commodore V6 3.8 ltr from a VN installed, with an auto transmission (this is an engine based on the GM Buick block).
The dash has been changed to a 1985 model. The car otherwise has its original diff, wheels, power steering, brakes etc, with many thousands spent. The seller noted it had not been driven in the last 4 1/2 years and has been sitting, and there is slight surface rust on bonnet edge/front apron/lower windscreen panel and a chip on o/s/f guard.
It was fish oiled before sitting for the last 10 years.
It's also missing its o/s/f lower door pocket.
