1983 Toyota Corona Gen 7 T140 Hardtop

This super-rare Cowrona coupe is a Japanese import to NZ, which has very low Ks for its age, and the once strange design is looking cooler by the day. We never got this model in Australia, and as far as I'm awrae there are none in Australia, but NZ has managed to bring in a few cars under their looser import regulations over the years. This paricularct example of the T140 coupe was advertised on trademe.co.nz asking for bids over $24,900. In the ad, the seller noted: "Rust free, sandblasted in 2015 with full panel paint. Car is in top condition. 3TGTE in factory spec was removed over lockdown and resealed .underseal done . W55 gearbox F series is lsd. Great condition interior, brought new window rubbers and good mud flaps from Japan (just arrived) New exhaust installed last year. New springs made for it.

It sounds like a lot of money was spent, and a great opportunity to get into a modern classic and super rare Toyota.
