A unique offering, which the seller states is a one of a kind. This AMG enhanced 300CE is currently on Ebay with a buy it now price of $26,500 (USD). The car has gone up for sale several times in the last few years, and has been sitting on Ebay at the current price since at least September 2016. We note that the car had an $18,990 (USD) buy it now price when previously advertised during 2015 on Ebay, and later sold at Barret Jackson auctions in 2016 for $11,000 (USD). The current price therefore seems a bit of a stretch.
Nonetheless, it's an interesting pre-AMG merger car, with the combination of components listed on the original AMG order sheet provided with the sale confirming the additions resulted in a $68,000 initial retail price. Unfortunately, the W126 inspired grille/hood looks tacky and aftermarket on the W124 (as they usually do), and it's a shame a cleaner design has not been developed over the years.
We don't think it will be selling too fast at this price, but knowing it went for $11,000 at auction last year, you might be able to pick this up a little cheaper with the right offer.
