The Bentley Turbo S was introduced in 1995 as a stop gap model before the launch of the new Arnage series cars - and therefore represented one of the final limited edition Bentley Turbos of the era in a series that ran from the mid-1980s. Just 60 for these ended up being built, making them the rarest of the Bentley R sedan cars. These cars are powered by a 400+ Horsepower (300+kw) V8 turbo engine, the same unit fitted to the continental S. Other unique features included a viscous differential and traction control. 

The car was advertised on Mecum.com - see the original ad here. At the time of offering, the car was being auctioned (so no price given), but the sellers made the following comments in the original ad:

• Believed to be one of just 60 examples built, 75 were purportedly intended for production
• Serial no. 4, the only known example in the United States
• 6.75L Bentley V-8 engine with larger Garrett AirResearch turbocharger and intercooler
• Finished in Sherwood Mica with a Sandstone pinstripe
• Original radio unit has since been upgraded with a Panasonic CN-HX3000D head unit
• Copy of its Bentley vehicle specification report
• Bolstered seats trimmed in Sandstone hides with Sandstone piping
• Conifer carpet with Spruce binding
• Walnut dashboard with green dash pad
• Walnut waist rails with a Bentley moti
• Vanities in the C-pillars as well as reading lights
• Continental R wheels shod in Michelin Latitude Sport 3 tires
• Turbo S badging on the fenders and trunk
• Color-matched mirrors
• Car was delivered new to Bentley of Munich in Germany, and was subsequently imported to Japan
• Current ownership purchased the car out of Japan in 2020 and imported it to the United States the same year
• Engine produced just over 400 horsepower, and the Turbo S was capable of a top speed of 155 mph
