2005 Renault Clio II RS (182)

Since we're on a bit of a run with French cars, I thought it was about time that I added one of the most popular hot hatches to the register, the Clio 182. Whenever trawling forums to find out what people think of the 206 GTi, everyone says forget it and get one of these instead. I do love a bit of French Racing Blue, and this has to be the best colour they were available in :).

This Clio II RS (180) was advertised in the Blue Mountains, near Sydney Australia in September 2022. The asking price at the time was $9,500, and we don't think that's too bad if you're looking for one with low Ks and fairly well kept. There appears to be some minor hail damage on the roof - but paint-less dent removal might be possible. Owner quite upfront about that damage, but noted that the car was otherwise very well maintained, and had its cam belt changed at 70,000km.

A bit about the Renault II RS 182: It's a competitor to early super compact hot hatches such as the 206 GTi, and perhaps also the Satria GTi, Civic Type R, Polo GTi, among others.. These Renault's seem to enjoy a very good reputation. They have approx. 134kw (heaps of power for a tiny car..)
