Advertised during Victoria's covid lockdown, demand for this glorious chairman was obviously at a low level, with bids failing to bring it over $1,000. Very few details given about the car's roadworthy condition, but the advertisement simply noted that the engine did not turn over. You'd be taking a big risk buying on that basis.. It did however come with a full service history, and lots of Ssangyong chairman images! - advertised on graysonline.com.au originally at the following link: https://www.graysonline.com/lot/0001-3473778/motor-vehiclesmotor-cycles/2005-ssangyong-chairman-cm600s-automatic-sedan?spr=true
These Chairmans are heavily based on the Mercedes W124 sedans (although their dimensions reflect more of the W140, particularly in terms of their length). We rarely see these come up for sale, and they sold fairly poorly throughout the years they were offered in Australia, when up against the Fairlane and Statesman. Nonetheless, a nice long wheel base sedan, that hopefully can be remembered. A few others that have come up for sale have been added to the register - see the links below.
