One of approximately 4382 built for the 1978 year, this Astral Silver 450 SLC is in excellent original condition, ready for the next enthusiast. The car is an Australian delivered example, last registered in Victoria in 2018.

The car has been used as a daily driver until recently, and over its 40+ years on the road has covered just over 200,000km. The car runs well, the engine is sound and the brakes are strong.  The body is in good condition with only a couple of minor blemishes which could easily be tidied up.  The blue cloth interior trim is also in excellent condition, only needing a clean, with the seat trim being well protected under the covers for many years.

The car is no longer registered and will be sold without a roadworthy certificate. However, a roadworthy certificate was issued for the vehicle in October 2018, so very little work is expected to be necessary in order to have the car registered again.

You don’t see many SLCs around and their production numbers were far lower than their convertible counterparts. If you’re looking for a classic Benz coupe and want something rare, the SLC is a great choice.
