For sale across the pond in NZ, this rare WRX STi coupe is one of just 639 built in 1998, and more generally represents an exceptionally rare and desirable GC8 WRX in the coupe form.

The GC8 series WRX (and STi cars in particular) have always been exceptionally popular with enthusiasts, and the GC8s fantastic thoroughbred motorsport performance history cemented that enthusiasm from a generation. It's therefore no surprise that we've seen exceptional price increases across the GC8 range as serious collectors begin to step into the 1990s decade assets. 

This particular example is a JDM model that's recently been imported to NZ. It has  been freshly serviced and complied, and is in near factory original condition with only a few tasteful modifications as set out below:

• Version 5 front and rear conversion (crystal headlights, bumpers and Version 5 wing)
• Version 5 blued front and rear STI Type R seats 
• DCCD Gearbox and LSD Rear Diff
