1980 Ford Escort MK2 RS2000 Coupe

Ford Escort 1980 RS2000 - this one found on trademe.co.nz asking $20,000.00.  It's an 11918 2-door A, imported to NZ from Australia originally. last owner owned it for years and imported it from Australia 10 years ago. The car was bought two months ago and I paid $27100.00 for it. A change in my circumstances means I have to sell it. It has a new WOF and will expire in 9th month. Car has had respray to tidy it up.. Motor, gearbox and diff are all good. New rear brake shoes and cylinders, new brake line front to rear. new headlights. 

Car needs full interior kit which you can buy off trade me. hoodlining,carpets and seats need recovered. 

Has original drop tank in boot with shortened tailshaft gearbox and strengthening plates under the drivers floor and top of struts like all RS2000 escorts. It is a CK41 rs.

With interior kit and a bit more tidying up will make a nice RS2000 which are getting very rare.The door locks all work but have been attacked at some stage to break in. Boot requires the boot springs nothing major. Viewing recommended.
