It's been a while, but finally we've spotted another LS for sale to add to the register! This one was listed on Ebay Australia in November 2019. Looks to be very original, other than the wheels. Must have lost its 8.4 inch disc brakes at some point as it's sitting on 10 inch wheels.

This Humber Super Snipe Mark IV Limousine was manufactured and assembled in the UK in 1953. This is unusual for an Australian Humber as they were usually exported to Australia in a completely knocked down form for assembly at the Rootes factory at Fishermans Bend in Melbourne. This early example of the C140 was imported to Poland from Switzerland in 2019. As an early C140, it has the 500SEC badgingf (as compared to the later S500 and CL 500 badging). Looks to be in reasonable condition with reasonable mileage for its age. Service records shown in the image look fairly comprehensive. A nice modern classic benz.

It's not actually a 65 Daytona, but a partial clone with teh vinyl roof, and a close colour to the Bordeaux Red. It was obviously a very popular colour in NZ - of the few GTs we have on the register here, the Brown / Bronze GTs are the most numerous. This one looks to be in great condition, and was asking $10K NZD in Oct 2019 on trademe.co.nz. The owner noted at the time that the carpet is original, and in great condition. Seats look to have an aftermarket re-trim in similar to original colours..

Found on Ebay USA in October 2019 with a classified ad price of $13,500 USD. One of only 6,622 cars built, these are becoming quite collectible and were sold in quite a number of markets - tche main of course being the USA where the styling was clearly aimed. Hard to find these early 1275 GTS - this one with its original 10 inch wheels (as appeared on early GTs before they went to the 12 inch). Looks to be relatively original from a distance, but has had some inyteresting vinyl work done to the foor and quite a bit of engine work.
